SUMMARY:2025 Spring Micro Registration
DESCRIPTION:Participants in the SWSA Fall Micro program (birth years 2017-2021) will be divided into the following groups: U4 First Touch\, U5\, U6\, and U7/U8 based on birth year. Micro groups may be coed\, or gender-specific teams may be formed if registration numbers allow. \nWe are expecting higher than normal spring registrations.  Due to other sports\, we may be limited on space and reach capacity.  We recommend signing up as quickly as possible to reserve your child’s spot. \nRegistration will close Sunday\, January 26th at 10pm to allow time for schedule creation and team rosters. \n\nThe 7-week spring season will begin in mid-March and run until early-May\nDates/times subject to change\nU4 age group receives:\n\n1 training per week (weekday) for 1 hour (tentatively 5:30pm)\nTentative Start Date week of March 10th\n\n\nU5 & U6 group receives:\n\nEvery child gets 1 session/week (same night each week)\nU5/U6: Typically 5:30pm – 6:30pm\nTentative Start Date week of March 10th\n\n\nU7/U8 group receives:\n\nEvery child gets 1 session/week (same night each week)\nU7/U8: 6:30pm – 7:30pm\nTentative Start Date week of March 10th\n\n\nU5-U8 Games are on Sundays\n\nAnywhere from 10:00am to 3:00pm.\nStart Date Sunday\, March 16th\nNo games Easter Sunday\nRain outs/makeup games will be scheduled after week 7.\nThe goal is to have the season over before Memorial Day weekend.\n\n\nOpen to all children with a birth year from January 1\, 2017 – December 31\, 2021\n\nU4 is open to all children with a 2021 birth year\nU5 is open to all children with a 2020 birth year\nU6 is open to all children with a 2019 birth year\nU7/U8 is open to all children with a 2018/2017 birth year\nFind your child’s “U” on US Soccer’s birth year matrix\n\n\n\nAll participants will receive: \n\na SWSA game shirt as part of the registration.\n\nAll players NEED: \n\ntheir own soccer ball (with name written on it)\n\nsize 3 ball for U4\, U5\, & U6\nsize 4 ball for U7 & U8\n\n\nshin guards\nwater bottle\npreferably soccer cleats\n\nRegistration: \n\nU4 = $115/player\nU5-U8 = $130/player\nRegistration will close on Sunday\, January 26th at 10pm.\nParent volunteers are needed for the program to run:\n\nU5 & U6 age groups: coaches assist the trainers and coaches run the games\nU7/U8 age group: coaches assist the trainers and coaches run the games\n\n\n\nLocation: \n\nAll games are currently scheduled to take place at High Hill Park on fields NOP\nAll practices & training field locations are at Walter Hill School\n\nAvailable positions will be filled on a first come\, first served basis. \nFor any questions regarding registration please contact: registrar@swsasoccer.org \nFor micro soccer general questions (league information\, program details\, etc)\, please contact: micro@swsasoccer.org \nSWSA reserves the right to adjust the program and dates if needed. \nCoaches can sign up using the form during their child’s registration. \n***Dates\, times\, program setup is subject to change*** \nPlease Note: In the text box on the registration form please list only nights that DO NOT work for your child. \nRegister for Micro
