However\, it will be required that:\n\n(1) the player MUST attend at least one tryout in his/her calendar birth year age group. Failing to attend one tryout in the player’s birth year age group will result in that player being placed on the lowest rated team in their age group\, as long as a roster spot is available.\n(2) He/she may attend a second tryout for the age group that is ONE calendar birth year older. Players registering for more than one age group are doing so with the knowledge that the club will place them on their highest rated team according to their tryout results.\n\nIf the player rates for the “A” team in their age group\, and receives a score within the club’s selection range to be on the “A” team of the age group ONE calendar birth year older\, then that player will be automatically placed on the “A” team in the age group ONE year older.\nHowever\, if a player rates within their birth year age group on the “A” team and they DO NOT make it within the club’s selection range for the “A” team in the age group ONE calendar birth year older\, then that player will be placed on their birth year’s “A” team.\n\nIn short if a player qualifies to be placed on a team in either their age group or the age group ONE calendar year older then the child/parents do not get to decide which team to play for after tryouts end. SUMMARY:2024 Spring Micro Registration
DESCRIPTION:Participants in the SWSA Spring Micro program will be divided into the following groups: U4 First Touch\, U5\, U6\, and U7/U8 based on birth year. Micro groups may be coed\, or gender-specific teams may be formed if registration numbers allow.  U5 & U6 could be separate divisions or combined depending on the number of registrants. \nWe are expecting higher than normal spring registrations.  Due to other sports\, we may be limited on space and reach capacity.  We recommend signing up as quickly as possible to reserve your child’s spot. \nRegistration will close Sunday\, February 25th at 10pm to allow time for schedule creation and team rosters.  \nWhen teams are created and emailed out we will post an alert on facebook. If you do not see it on facebook that means that we are still working on it as quickly as possible. DESCRIPTION:Participants in the SWSA Fall Micro program (birth years 2016-2020) will be divided into the following groups: U4 First Touch\, U5\, U6\, and U7/U8 based on birth year. Micro groups may be coed\, or gender-specific teams may be formed if registration numbers allow. \nRegistration will close Tuesday\, August 8th at 10pm to allow time for schedule creation and team rosters. \n\nThe 8-week Fall season will begin with practices\, trainings\, and games starting the week of Monday\, August 28th & run until Saturday\, November 4th\nDates/times subject to change\nU4 age group receives:\n\n1 training per week for 1 hour\nSaturday mornings – time TBD\nStart Date Saturday\, September 9th\n\n\nU5 & U6 Trainings are weeknights\n\n1 training per week (the same nights each week)\nU5/U6: 6pm – 7pm\nStart Dates are: Monday\, August 28th – Friday\, September 1st\n\n\nU7/U8 Coaches Practice & Trainings are weeknights\n\n1 coaches practice + 1 training per week (the same nights each week)\nU7/U8: 6pm – 7pm or 7pm – 8pm\nStart Dates are: Monday\, August 28th – Friday\, September 1st\n\n\nU5-U8 Games are on Saturdays\n\nAnywhere from 8:00am to 1:30pm.\nStart Date Saturday\, September 9th\nThere *may* be Sunday games (weekend of Swedesboro/Woolwich Day/make ups)\nRain outs/makeup games can be scheduled by coaches on either practice nights\, Friday nights\, or Sundays. However\, it will be required that:\n\n(1) the player MUST attend at least one tryout in his/her calendar birth year age group. Failing to attend one tryout in the player’s birth year age group will result in that player being placed on the lowest rated team in their age group\, as long as a roster spot is available.\n(2) He/she may attend a second tryout for the age group that is ONE calendar birth year older. Players registering for more than one age group are doing so with the knowledge that the club will place them on their highest rated team according to their tryout results.\n\nIf the player rates for the “A” team in their age group\, and receives a score within the club’s selection range to be on the “A” team of the age group ONE calendar birth year older\, then that player will be automatically placed on the “A” team in the age group ONE year older.\nHowever\, if a player rates within their birth year age group on the “A” team and they DO NOT make it within the club’s selection range for the “A” team in the age group ONE calendar birth year older\, then that player will be placed on their birth year’s “A” team.\n\nIn short if a player qualifies to be placed on a team in either their age group or the age group ONE calendar year older then the child/parents do not get to decide which team to play for after tryouts end. SUMMARY:Deptford Micro Tournament Fall 2022
DESCRIPTION:What is the “Futures” Deptford Fall Fest Tournament?\n\nThe Futures age groups were added to the Deptford tournament in order to give the U6\, U7\, U8 (new addition non-travel U8) age groups a travel-like experience against children from other towns.\n2020 was the inaugural version of the Futures addition to the Deptford tournament and it was a lot of fun for the 2 teams that SWSA had participate.\n\nIn 2021 the club had 3 teams participate.\n\n\nREMEMBER THIS IS A FUN TOURNAMENT FOR THE CHILDREN TO SEE WHAT TRAVELING IS LIKE.  All coaches\, parents\, and players are expected to follow the SWSA parent conduct policy.\n\n\nRegistration Information:\n\nYour child MUST be registered for the SWSA Fall 2022 season in order to participate.  No other children will be accepted to play for SWSA regardless of any past participation.\nIn order for a coach to be eligible they must be a registered with SWSA to coach in the Fall 2022 season.\n\nDepending on the amount of coaches interested there are NO guarantees that all coaches will be chosen to coach.\n\n\nRegistration will open on Wednesday\, September 14th at noon.\n\nRegistration will close on Friday\, September 16th at 11:59pm.\nDon’t delay if you are looking to register!  Spots will go quickly!\nNo late registrations will be accepted unless there are openings to fill a team.\n\n\nBy completing this registration it DOES NOT guarantee your child a roster spot.\n\nThe registration system will place your name in the registration queue in order received.\nAfter registration closes teams will be formed in groups of 12 (11 minimum).\n\nDue to the complexity and time restraints SWSA does not take special requests on team rosters.\nIf SWSA has enough interest to put in 2\, 3\, 4 teams\, the club will register teams based on registrants (and depending on Deptford’s allotment of teams).\nBut if SWSA ends up with numbers short of completing a team\, than unfortunately those players will be unable to participate.\n\n\nAge groups submitted will also be based on Deptford having enough entries in those age groups.\n\n\nTeam formation will be based on:\n\n\n\nBoy’s & Girl’s teams separate or coed.\nU6\, U7\, & U8 will all be entered as separate age groups.\n\nAll players must play in their birth year age group (no exceptions).\n\nU6 = 2017\nU7 = 2016\nU8 = 2015 (this will be a rec division and not travel)\n\n\n\n\nUltimately\, the roster(s) will be filled on a first come first serve basis\, based on the date/time you register.\nPayment will be immediate for the first 12 registrations in each age group.\n\nThe “wait list” registrations will only be charged if their registration is accepted and payment must be made immediately to secure your spot.\nFailure to pay within the specified time frame in the email will result in the spot being provided to another player on the waiting list.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTournament Information:\n\nDeptford Fall Fest Tournament will take place on October 8th and 9th. (and potentially 1 night game on Friday\, October 7th – although doubtful)\n3 games guaranteed: (25 minute halves)\nPlayed on a 7v7 field (60 yards x 40 yards)\, SWSA micro fields are 35 yards x 25 yards.\nPlayed 7v7 with a goalie\nPlayers receive a trophy to commemorate their 1st tournament\nWill be approximately $40-$45 per player (includes: tournament registration\, game jersey\, socks\, patches to hand out to opponent)\nOnly children with a birth year of 2015\, 2016\, and 2017 are eligible.\nAll games will be in Deptford\n\n1002 Cattell Road Deptford\, NJ 08090\n\n\nMicro has no games scheduled this weekend because of travel tournaments.\n\nPlease only register if your child can make the entire tournament!  It is a lot to coordinate in a short period of time and with much larger fields full attendance on the team is ideal for these younger ages.\n \nRegister for Deptford Tournament
