Participants in the SWSA Fall Micro program (age groups August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2023) will be divided into the following groups: U4 First Touch, U5, U6, and U7/U8 based on birth year. Micro groups may be coed, or gender-specific teams may be formed if registration numbers allow.

Registration will close Monday, August 3rd at 10pm to allow time for schedule creation, team rosters and uniform ordering.

• The 8-week Fall season will begin with practices, trainings, and games starting the week of Monday, September 14th & run until Saturday, November 14th
• Dates/times subject to change
• U4 Coed age group receives:
  • 1 training per week for 1 hour
  • Day & time TBD – will be a weeknight
  • Start Date will be the week of September 14th
• U5 & U6 Coed age group receives:
  • 1 training per week (the same nights each week)
  • U5/U6: 6pm – 7pm
  • Start Dates are: Monday, September 14th – Friday, September 18th
• U7/U8 Boys & Girls group receives:
  • 1 coaches practice + 1 training per week (the same nights each week)
  • U7/U8: 6pm – 7pm or 7pm – 8pm
  • Start Dates are: Monday, September 14th – Friday, September 18th
• U5-U8 Games are on Saturdays:
  • Anywhere from 8:00am to 1:30pm.
  • Start Date Saturday, September 19th
  • There *may* be Sunday games or games moved to later in the day on Saturday (weekend of Swedesboro/Woolwich Day/make ups)
  • Rain outs/makeup games can be scheduled by coaches on either practice nights, Friday nights, or Sundays. Or additionally adding a makeup game to the end of the season on a Saturday.
  • The goal is to have the season over by the first week of November.
• Open to all children in the following age groups:
  • U4 is open to all children born between August 1, 2022 – September 30, 2023
  • U5 is open to all children born between August 1, 2021 – September 30, 2022
  • U6 is open to all children born between August 1, 2020 – September 30, 2021
  • U7/U8 is open to all children born between August 1, 2018 – September 30, 2020
  • Find your child’s “U” on US Soccer’s birth year matrix

All participants will receive:

• a SWSA game shirt and a pair of soccer socks as part of the registration.

All players NEED:

• their own soccer ball (with name written on it)
  • size 3 ball for U4, U5, & U6
  • size 4 ball for U7 & U8
• shin guards
• water bottle
• preferably soccer cleats

Registration:

• U4 = $125/player
• U5-U8 = $140/player
• Registration will close on Monday, August 3rd at 10pm.
• Parent volunteers are needed for the program to run:
  • U5 & U6 age groups have coaches to assist the trainers and run the games (teams do not have a coach practice)
  • U7/U8 age group has coaches to run practices, assist the trainers, and run games.

Location:

• All games are currently scheduled to take place at High Hill Park (location for games or practices may be adjusted based on the new field space)
• All practices & training field locations are TBD

Available positions will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
