Participants in the SWSA Springl Micro program (birth years 2018-2022) will be divided into the following groups: U4 First Touch, U5, U6, and U7/U8 based on birth year. Micro groups may be coed, or gender-specific teams may be formed if registration numbers allow. U5 and U6 could be separate divisions, or may be combined depending on the number of registrants.

Registration will close Sunday January 25, 2026 at 10pm to allow time for schedule creation, team rosters and uniform ordering.

• The 7-week Spring season will begin in mid-March and run until early-May
• Dates/times subject to change
• U4 age group receives:
  • 1 training per week (weekday) for 1 hour (tentatively 5:30 pm)
  • Tentative Start Date week of March 9th
• U5 & U6 Trainings are weeknights
  • Every child gets 1 trainer-led session/week (same night each week)
  • U5/U6: Typically 5:30-6:30 pm
  • Tentative Start Date week of March 9th
• U7/U8 Coaches Practice & Trainings are weeknights
  • Every child gets 1 trainer-led session/week (same night each week)
  • U5/U6: Typically 6:30-7:30 pm
  • Tentative State Date week of March 9th
• U5-U8 Games are on Sundays
  • Anywhere from 10 am-3 pm
  • Start Date Sunday March 15th
  • No games Easter Sunday
  • Rain outs/makeup games will be scheduled after week 7
  • The goal is to have the season over before Memorial Day Weekend
• Open to all children with a birth year from 2018-2022
  • U4 is open to all children with a 2022 birth year
  • U5 is open to all children with a 2021 birth year
  • U6 is open to all children with a 2020 birth year
  • U7/U8 is open to all children with a 2019/2018 birth year

All participants will receive:

• a SWSA game shirt and a pair of soccer socks as part of the registration.

All players NEED:

• their own soccer ball (with name written on it)
  • size 3 ball for U4, U5, & U6
  • size 4 ball for U7 & U8
• shin guards
• water bottle
• preferably soccer cleats

Registration:

• U4 = $125/player
• U5-U8 = $140/player
• Registration will close on Sunday January 25, 2026
• Parent volunteers are needed for the program to run:
  • For the Spring season, coaches are needed to run the games only
  • Trainers will run the practices that occur 1 time/week

Location:

• All games are currently scheduled to take place at High Hill Park on fields N, O & P
• All practices & training field locations are TBD
